LegioLog is a digital compliance tool that helps UK duty holders keep their legionella water hygiene records audit-ready — without hiring a water hygiene consultant or juggling paper logbooks across multiple properties.

Who it's for

Landlords managing HMOs and small property portfolios. Care home managers responsible for water systems. Dental and GP practice managers. Hotel and B&B owners. School facilities managers. Anyone who holds the legal duty under ACoP L8 but doesn't have a dedicated water hygiene team.

The problem

HSE requires duty holders to maintain temperature logs, flushing records, showerhead cleaning schedules, and a current risk assessment. Most small building managers track these on paper clipboards or spreadsheets — records that get lost, fall out of date, and leave gaps that inspectors find. The alternative is outsourcing to a water treatment contractor at £150-400 per property per year.

There are 15-20 legionella software tools on the market, but every one of them targets water treatment contractors or large facilities management companies with quote-based enterprise pricing. Nothing exists for the individual landlord or small care home at an affordable self-serve price.

What LegioLog does
